Free lunch? There’s no such thing right? Wrong!

There are some fantastic places where kids eat free this summer in London.

Most of them require that you purchase an adult meal in order to qualify for the free kids’ meal but every little helps!

London can be an expensive city, especially if you are visiting the main attractions in London with kids so it’s good to save money where you can.

Having said that, there are lots of free things to do in London with kids (see also our list of best child-friendly museums in London – most of which are free). Combine them with a free or cheap meal and London can be done on a budget.

Kids eat free this summer in London

Yo! Sushi

Yo! Sushi are offering Kid’s eat free all day from Monday to Friday during the summer holidays from 1st July to 30th August.

Children can enjoy a meal from the Mini Ninja children’s menu.

Accompanying adult must spend at least £10 for each free child. Maximum of 3 children per table. Children must be under 12 years old.

TGI Fridays

Kids can eat free at TGI Fridays all day, every day when you order an adult’s main meal. The offer is available for new and existing Stripes Rewards members. See here to join.

You’ll get a complimentary Little League or Major League kids’ meal. The menu includes classic burgers, fish fingers, tomato tubes, chicken burgers and vegan choices and more.

This offer is available for kids up to and including 12 years old.

Locations: Leicester Square, Wembley and Stratford.

Bill’s

Up to 2 kids can eat free all day at Bill’s from 22nd July to 30th August when an adult orders a main from the breakfast, lunch or dinner menu.

Purezza

Purezza offer kids eat free for under 10s. Children under 10 can choose a free mini pizza with a topping of their choice or choose from the kids menu.

Gordon Ramsay Restaurants

At selected Gordon Ramsay Restaurants, kids can eat for free from the Ramsay kids menu when ordering a main. It’s only available for children under 8 years old and you will need to purchase an adult main for every free children’s meal.

Barbican Kitchen

Barbican Kitchen – kids under 10 can enjoy a free kids meal with every adult meal over £10 ordered.

Location: Barbican Kitchen, Barbican Centre, Silk Street, London, EC2Y 8DS.

Hard Rock Café (American)

Hard Rock Café – holders of the annual Merlin Pass are entitled to one free kids meal with the purchase of an adult main. Children must be under 10.

Locations: Old Park Lane and Piccadilly Circus.

The Real Greek (Greek)

The Real Greek offers kids eat free meals on Sundays at all of their restaurants. They have 12 restaurants in London.

Children can order from the kid’s menu (includes kid’s meal with drink and ice cream) when accompanying adult spends £10 or more on an adult meal. Children must be under 12.

Banana Tree (Pan Asian)

Kids eat free at the Banana Tree every Sunday when an adult eats from the All Day menu.

This offer is for kids under 12 years old. They can build their own meal, choosing a main, side and dip – plus a dessert.

Kids will also receive an activity pack.

Franco Manca (Italian)

At Franco Manca kids eat free this summer. Kids 12 years and under will receive a free pizza with every adult meal at selected restaurants.

The Hoxton

Kids under 10 can eat free at The Hox between 12 and 5pm every Saturday and Sunday and weekdays during August with any dining adult. The offer is only for one child per adult.

Locations: Shoreditch, Holborn, Southwark and Shepherd’s Bush.

Bella Italia

Kids eat free at Bella Italia all day on Thursdays and on Sunday to Wednesday from 4-6pm they can eat for £1.

Kids must be between 2 – 11 years old and must be accompanied by an adult ordering an adult meal.

The Pembury Tavern

The Pembury Tavern, a legendary East London pub, is offering kids eat free pizzette on Sundays from 12-4pm for kids aged 3-10 years. They can sit at the Kids Table and will be supervised by DBS checked Kids Table team members.

Adults simply have to order a full-sized pizza.

In addition to the London restaurants offering kids eat free, you can also grab a bite to eat at the following supermarkets for free or for £1.

Morrisons Café Kids Eat Free

Kids 16 years and under can get one free ‘meal’ with every adult meal of £4.50 or over (excluding cafe specials). The meal includes a piece of fruit and orange or apple juice or bottle of water.

Tesco Café Kids Eat Free

Kids eat free at Tesco Café from 22nd July to 30th August (different dates for Scotland and N. Ireland) and can choose a hot meal, breakfast or Kids’ Pick ‘N’ Mix Lunch Deal with every adult meal purchased.  Clubcard/app required.

Asda Café Kids Eat for £1

Kids under 16 can get a hot meal or cold pick and mix meal for £1. They will also receive a free piece of fruit. Adults don’t have to buy anything but from 3pm onwards, you can also get half price adult main meals.

You can get one children’s hot main meal or “lunch bag” for £1 with the purchase of an adult hot main meal from £5.20 in the Sainsburys café.
