The Best London Hotels With Pools For Kids In 2024
Since our kids were really tiny, we’ve always tried to book hotels with pools whenever we go away and London is no exception.
It’s great to have some downtime in a pool in between the busy sights and sounds of the city. It also feels more like a holiday when you have a pool!
There are lots of fancy hotels in London with pools but some of them don’t actually allow kids. To help you find the right one, we’ve given a list of the best London hotels with pools for kids.
These are the most family-friendly hotels in London with pools. As well as allowing kids in the pools, some of these hotels also have special packages for kids including gifts and activities.

Tips for visiting London with kids
Here are a few things we’ve learned over the years from taking our kids to visit London.
- Make sure they don’t get over tired. Take breaks in between sightseeing and head back to the hotel for a swim. This is why picking a family-friendly London hotel with a swimming pool is a great idea. Also seek out the play areas in parks.
- Seek out some of the free activities in London for kids so that your London trip doesn’t become excessively expensive. See also places for kids to eat free in London.
- If you’re visiting London in the summer, take your swim suits and a towel out in your day bag and enjoy the splash parks.
- Take the London buses rather than the underground so you can see the city sights. Kids under 11 travel free.
And if you’re visiting some of the larger attractions in London, look into these ways to save money on tickets:
- Consider booking multisaver tickets on the Merlin attractions if you are planning on visiting more than one. The London Merlin attractions are (London Eye, Madame Tussauds, Shrek’s Adventure, London Dungeon and SEA LIFE).
- Other large attractions such as Tower of London, London Zoo, the O2 climb, the Shard etc are covered under the London Explorer Pass. You can save a lot of money with this flexible pass.
If I think of more London tips I’ll add them. Now to the pools…
